I have hardly any music on my computer. 1.73 Gb, apparently.
Can’t remember the last CD I bought, because I am perpetually skint. However, the next CD I plan to buy is ‘Rough Trade Shops: Country Vol. 1’ because I don’t get the ‘anything but country’ attitude some people have to music and I wish to educate myself.
Song play RIGHT NOW: Babies by Pulp.
Five songs I have listened to a lot recently: Voce Me Apareceu by Kaleidoscopio, Hold Onto Your Friends by Morrissey, In Trutina by Carl Orff, The Slits covering Heard It Through The Grapevine and All Falls Down by Kanye West \m/ (according to iTunes. Personally I wasn’t aware of listening to some of those very much).

Yes, I’m still here. I just got sucked into a Bo Bice vortex. I’m still smarting from his loss to the Barbie with the ipod installed in her.
Congrats on finishing school. Well, er, part of school. Things get a whole lot better here on out.

Oh yes, results.
I don’t have a lot of music on my computer, because I’m old and I’ve just started using my computer for music. But I’m on a steep learning curve.
Last CD I bought: Bo Bice – Recipe for Flavor
Songs playing now: I’m switching (get it, switching) between Bo and Switchfoot, Beautiful Letdown. I also sense Lynyrd Skynyrd on my horizon, because long, long ago my people were crackers in the South, (before they were emigrants on the Oregon Trail and after they were estate owners in Plymouth) and I missed out on Southern Rock the first time around.
Matthew, I’ve had the most incredible music thing going on with me, all because of a cheesy, rigged, exploitive reality TV show. God works in mysterious ways.

Indeed he does. I’d imagine that Bo Bice is a whole lot better than our Pop Idol products here, by the sounds of things. I like your description of Carrie Underwhatsit. I really must get hold of some Lynyrd Skynyrd beyond “Sweet Home Alabama”.

You can download his super fantastic cover of Badlands “In a Dream” here. You may not like him as much as I do, as I’ve heard he skews pretty hard American/over 25.

He is a very good singer. I can appreciate music without really liking it personally, but that was good :)
