First day of work
I was looking forward to recounting entertaining stories about what I’m getting up to at work (and some of the things I’m dealing with), but unfortunately I’ve had to sign the Official Secrets Act (or something that mentions it at least) and can’t say anything for fear of losing my job and possible prosecution. All that leaves me to say, then, is that I started my new job today, at an undisclosed location, and it is far more boring than it sounds.

Wow! My dad thinks you must be making tea for spies.

But you’re making it sound so interesting. Re-read what you signed, find a loophole, and tell us what you can.
By the way – this site still looks terrible in Safari (1.3). Black and white, with no colours or pictures. And it never remembers my personal info. Get to work, codeboy!

It is kind of hard when you don’t have a Mac to test it on.

Yeah…
Although Safari 2.0 is out for OSX 10.4 (Tiger). I’m stuck with 10.3 (Panther) for now, but hopefully soon I’ll get Tiger.

If I had a Mac, I’d fix it. As I don’t, it’s more of a challenge… sounds like the CSS isn’t loading.

Tis true, the CSS does not load on Safari… I’m on 2.0 and all.
Could you not, for example, give us three points in oxford and times it takes you to walk to work from them. So ‘I walked to work today, it took me forty minutes, in my hour lunch break I could barely make it to HMV and back and then I went to church for a practice, walking that took an hour’. Or something.

It would make it a bit obvious now that you’ve suggested it…
