I saw my friends on Sunday, and they’re all perfectly well. For a recipe I’d made up the day before, from a cook who can’t even get bolognaise sauce right, I think I did okay. (I did have to add some last minute herbs because I’d over-boiled the vegetables though.)
Cooking is fun. It was so much hard work, in that I was continuously doing food-related stuff for about six hours – I’ve never done more than an hour or so straight before. Great fun though.
I possibly should have kept this quiet. I’m now cooking a family meal a week, starting very shortly…
Talking of starting very shortly, Spooks is. And can someone explain why, for a guy who hates injections and is reasonably squeamish, my favourite TV programmes at the moment are medical dramas?
