Don’t sweat it, it’s a common problem. All I can say is practice, practice, practice. They’re practically 2nd nature for me now. A roundabout is a complex game of logic, non-verbal communication, and second-guessing. Coupled with the intricacies of operating a motor vehicle it’s no wonder that many people find them intimidating.

Mr E: nothing happened in particular, I just can’t do roundabouts properly.
Rory: Not to mention marks on the road that tell you the lane you’re in goes left ONLY, making you change to the middle lane which says straight on ONLY, only to find that the marking was in fact incorrect and you should have stayed in the left lane.
