Or that the front page has more entries on it than there were last month/has entries of over a month ago on it.

You better shape up, ‘cause I need a blog and my heart is set on you. You better shape up; you better understand to my heart I must be true.

What? You’ve been blogging TOO MUCH if all the entries on the front page are from the same month! Having said this, people should really post several times a day to fleetingly alleviate my boredom.

Having entries just from the past month on the front requires a post every three days, given that there are approximately thirty days in a month and ten entries on the front page. Anything less than an entry every three days and there will be entries from over a month ago on the front page.
Given that I have posted roughly two hundred entries in roughly eleven months. at thirty days a month that is two hundred entries in three hundred and thirty days, or approximately two every three days as an average.
If we speculate that, based on the comments that I should be posting more frequently than I have done recently, my blogging output has fallen in past weeks, then it follows that, as I have been posting approximately once every three days (as the last entry on the front page at the time of writing is from approximately a month ago), I was posting far more than once every three days in the past, and that this is the preferred state of affairs. Following from this, Verity’s statement that I’ve been blogging “too much” if all the entries on the front page are from the same month can be construed, in certain lights, to be bunk.
An alternate theory would be that I used to blog too much, however a simple vote of my readers seems to suggest otherwise. As a result of these findings, I will endeavor to correct the slackening of frequency of my ramblings here, and pull all the stops out to regale the interweb with my wit and intellect. Or something.

I took the time to read all of it, but I couldn’t be bothered to take the last half in.

Well, Verity does have some twenty entries on her front page as opposed to your ten. And I agree with the second part of her comment. *Nods*
