The New York Times on the Da Vinci Code
I certainly can’t support any calls for boycotting or protesting this busy, trivial, inoffensive film. Which is not to say I’m recommending you go see it. (Source: The New York Times
I voted for Mission Impossible 3, but no, we need to be prepared to combat the questions of people who have seen this! Ah well. I’ll post a review at some point.

Mr E
I saw an entry created at 2.32am and thought “That’s rather late for Matthew to be up”, and then I remembered you’re in Japan.

Yeah, I’ve not bothered to get the time zone thing to work. I had far too many other things to think about before going, and now I’m here I probably won’t have the time either. (I’ve also discovered that disallowing comments on an entry actually breaks its archive. Which is unfortunate.)

You voted for Mission Impossible 3 in what way?
It was far far better than MI2.

I wanted to see MI3 instead of the Da Vinci Code. (Apparently it’s not out here yet though.)

True – but as everyone else was decided on going I didn’t want to just confuse the decision making.
