My last night
I’ve just said goodbye to more than half the people I’m leaving behind in Japan, and I’ve suddenly realised how much I want to stay.
Leaving people is hard.

In a way, you can be happy that you weren’t there for that long. Less time to build intense relationships, friendships, and potentials for missing things that you leave behind. On the other hand, I’m sure you’d love to stay for longer.
It’s tough.

Leaving people is indeed very hard… And I think a few months is long enough to build up pretty strong relationships. Especially when working with people and even living with them day in and day out…

Yeah, I’d say so. Two months is easily long enough.
