Holiday
Well, I’m off to uni on Saturday, and for this term I’ve decided to give blogging a rest as I settle in. I may occasionally write stuff, but I probably won’t until December. Have a good couple of months everyone!
Currently listening to Frou Frou – Let Go.

You mean this?
“I mean Cuban, Puerto-Rican, they are all very hot, […] They have the, you know, part of the black blood in them and part of the Latino blood in them that together makes it.”

I was going to post a “No, not that comment, this comment”, both being not the (obvious) one I was thinking of, but I decided against it at the last minute. And now you’ve done it, Rory, albeit with a more amusing alternate quote. Good on ya, or something. (Am I making sense?)

Ah yes. I think this is one of those moments where my train of thought went straight from Oxford to Paddington, missing out Reading, while everyone else is still at Reading. My apologies.

Hey Matthew, So you’re starting University soon, eh. Micah is getting settled in at college in Canada, but he finds it very hard to keep up to what their saying. It will be a good time to increase his vocabulary. He says that he doesn’t understand anything their saying in Theology class. He has a Japanese roommate, so that’s kind of nice. He’ll probably get used to stuff. well I hope Uni goes well for you.

He will pick it up – theology has loads of long words that I wouldn’t have known if I wasn’t really geeky about things like that. It always takes a while to get up to speed – and often it seems like everyone else understands and it’s just you, but usually that’s just them looking more confident than they really are. (Or so the wise men tell us – obviously I’ve not gone yet so I don’t know!)
