The Environment

One of the things in life I'm passionate about is anything concerning the environment, whether it's saving it or just enjoying it. I'm big on stars, and almost wish I'd been born differently so that I could cope living in a village. You can't see the stars in the city (darn that light pollution!). I also love the African savanna, as well as many other things in this creation. God has made a beautiful world, and it's something that I don't often get a chance to really appreciate.

Saving the world

As a Christian I obviously believe that the first priority for the people of the world is to be saved from sin – however, the first priority for us towards our natural world is conservation and stopping pollution. People often don't think that this is something they can do anything about, and it's because most people think this that it becomes true. The main purpose of this page is to encourage anyone who thinks like this that it doesn't have to be true, and by conserving energy you can have an effect, however small. It's like a monetary appeal after a disaster of some kind: if people thought that giving a small amount of money wouldn't help at all and didn't give any, the totals raised would be much, much lower. The pennies count up.
